What you need to connect
- Connection
- Local HTTP API, normally port 8080.
- Printer details
- IP address and approval on the printer’s touchscreen.
03Setup
How to add the printer in Gantry
- Find the printer’s IP address on your local network.
- In Gantry choose “Add printer…” and the Snapmaker type.
- Enter the IP address and approve the connection on the printer’s touchscreen.
- Save and check the printer card.

Good to know
- After the printer is power-cycled, you may need to approve the connection again.
- Add a camera as a separate JPEG or MJPEG address in printer tools.
- The Snapmaker U1 works through Moonraker — add it as a Klipper printer.
